Raw brass jewelry will oxidize and darken over time. This can be accelerated if it comes in contact with water or skincare products. Each order includes a complimentary reusable polishing cloth to help keep your jewelry looking like new. To use, gently buff the item using medium to firm pressure as needed.

Brass jewelry will naturally oxidize and develop a patina over time due the high copper content. This is easily reversible if you prefer to maintain the original shiny finish. A complimentary jewelry polishing cloth is included with each order that can be used to keep your piece looking like new!

TIP: In the event that your jewelry develops a heavy tarnish and needs an occasional deeper cleaning, make a simple paste with lemon juice and baking soda and apply to the bracelet with a soft cloth or paper towel. Let the paste sit for about 15-20 seconds, and gently buff the bracelet until the tarnish is removed. Follow with a quick rinse of clean water, and dry thoroughly.

Most likely, no. This is a common feature of brass. It contains copper, which may react with the acidity in some people's skin, and it can also react with some skincare products such as lotion, perfume, or sunscreen. I highly recommend polishing your piece periodically with the included polishing cloth, and storing it in a dry place when not wearing. I also recommend avoiding contact with skincare products, and removing your jewelry while showering or swimming.

***Most people aren't allergic to brass, but if you develop itching, redness, or irritation, please discontinue wearing and consult your physician to discuss possible allergies. All of my pieces are nickel-free.

Traditional sterling silver is composed of 92.5% silver, with the remaining percentage being other metals, mostly copper. Argentium silver is made with either 93.5% or 96% silver (depending on the grade), and some of the copper is replaced with the element germanium. The end result is a brighter colored silver that is very resistant to tarnish. It is also hypoallergenic, and generally a very comfortable option for people with metal sensitivities.

Returns and exchanges are accepted. All returns must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery in original condition and packaging. Full amount paid including original shipping charge will be refunded once the item is received back. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, as well as any loss of value if the item is not returned in original condition.
