I LOVE MAKING UPCYCLED AND RECYCLED WEARABLE ART!

It all started about 20 years ago - yes, long before the world caught onto making vintage typewriter jewelry. I've always been a lover of letters, fonts, graphics and reading and so when I thought of this idea of recycling a beat up old vintage typewriter into wearable art - well - that's where it all began...

Yes, over 20 years ago, we started WhatsYourType.com.

And over the years we've made thousands of pairs of custom typewriter cufflinks, earrings and necklaces. We initially started gluing our products together and quickly realized that this wasn't going to last as keys would eventually pop off (plus it was toxic). So, alas, we spent hours creating our own findings and we stopped using glue on our products many years ago.

Along with making typewriter jewelry, we also have a line of fun, unique, custom belt buckles on our sister site below. We hope you enjoy both!!!!
