1. Are your artworks hand-painted or printed?
Our physical canvas paintings are hand-painted by the artists of USpaceArt using professional-grade oil, acrylic, and mixed-media materials, depending on the artwork. They are not mass-produced paper prints. Because our collection includes different techniques and formats, please refer to the individual listing for the exact materials and specifications of the artwork you are purchasing.
2. Will my painting look exactly like the photos shown in the listing?
Each hand-painted artwork is individually created, so small variations in brushwork, texture, color placement, and surface details are a natural part of the handmade process. For made-to-order paintings, we carefully preserve the overall composition, color palette, style, and visual character shown in the listing. If a listing is for a one-of-a-kind finished artwork, this will be stated in the item description.
3. Can I request a custom size, color palette, or other changes?
Yes. We welcome custom and personalized painting requests. If you need a different size, color adjustment, orientation, or other design modification, please contact us through Etsy Messages before ordering. You may also send us a photo of your wall or room, and we can help recommend a suitable size and provide a digital room mockup when appropriate.
4. What is the difference between unstretched, stretched, and framed options?
Unstretched canvas is shipped rolled and will need to be stretched or framed locally before hanging. Stretched canvas is mounted on wooden stretcher bars and is ready for framing or hanging, depending on the listing. Framed options may include a floating frame and are generally shipped as a finished, ready-to-hang artwork. Please select the exact finish you want from the options shown on the listing, as available options may vary by artwork.
5. How long will it take to make and deliver my painting?
Processing and estimated delivery times are shown on each Etsy listing and at checkout. Made-to-order or customized artworks may require additional production time. Once your order is ready, we normally use tracked international carriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, or another suitable delivery service depending on the destination. Tracking information will be added to your Etsy order when available.
6. How will my artwork be packaged, and what should I do if it arrives damaged?
Unstretched paintings are securely rolled and packed in protective shipping tubes or reinforced packaging. Stretched and framed artworks are packed with protective materials suitable for their size and construction. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us through Etsy Messages as soon as possible and include clear photos of the artwork, outer box, and packaging. Please keep all packaging until the issue has been resolved so we can review the shipment and provide the appropriate solution.
7. Can I return or exchange my artwork?
Return and exchange eligibility is determined by the policy displayed on the individual Etsy listing you purchased from. For listings that accept returns, please contact us within the return period shown on that listing and return the artwork in its original condition and packaging. Unless otherwise stated or the issue is caused by an error with the order, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Custom or personalized artworks may have different return eligibility, so please review the listing policy before purchasing.
8. Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes. Our current shop policy accepts cancellation requests within 24 hours of purchase. Please contact us through Etsy Messages as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Once production has begun or the cancellation period has passed, we may no longer be able to cancel the order.
9. How do payments, taxes, and import duties work?
Payments are processed securely through Etsy using the payment methods available to you at checkout. USpaceArt does not receive your full credit-card information. For U.S. deliveries, applicable import duties and fees are included according to the information displayed by Etsy. Buyers in other countries may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, or import charges required by their local authorities.
10. How should I care for my canvas painting?
Display your artwork indoors in a dry, stable environment and avoid prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, or high humidity. Handle the canvas with clean, dry hands and avoid touching heavily textured or painted areas whenever possible. For routine cleaning, gently remove surface dust with a clean, soft, dry cloth or soft brush. Do not use water, household cleaners, solvents, or chemical cleaning products on the painted surface.
