Very nice looking durable leather — old school, real leather, I get loads of compliments. I’m grateful it was not plastic coated on the underside like the cheap leather-like POS Asian import straps. Those literally smell like heavy chemicals — NOT leather tanning products. Here is a constructive recommendation to the leather watchband crafter who made my band: reduce the leather thickness, only where the leather wraps around the watch-pins. Why? The space, between either watch-pin and the watch body, was too narrow for the leather strap to pass through and wrap around it. My solution: I shaved each strap with a pocket knife, only at the unstitched tips. I made each one thinner by about 1/16”, very carefully, in order to allow pass-through between the watch-pin and the watch body, for each strap. Very best regards, RH
