Hello my name is Marcella Huppke but many of you may know me as "Sally" I have been designing and handcrafting jewelry for more than 30 years. Originally my late husband Glen and I have worked only with wood. We used a lathe to sculptured the wood into beautiful wooded bangles, as the name "Huppke Woods" started and is still used today by some of our family.
We started doing Art Shows around the state of Florida and were eventually invited into Busch Gardens in Tampa Fla. We owned and operated a Shop/Store there for over 25 yrs. We then branched out into designing one of a kind "Handmade" beaded creations and also a full line of Beautiful Stone Jewelry. As time went on we incorporated some lovely outside Pewter Jewelry which is a very collectable item by the name of JJ Jonette Jewelry Company, which was one of the last costume jewelry manufacturers in the USA. They went out of business in 2006 and their products have become collector's items. It is from the Artifacts line from the original series dated back to 1980's..
We have had as many as three stores in the state of Florida and for several years I have worked the "Sunset Festival" on Pier 60 in Clearwater Fla. Eventually I went back to my roots doing Fine Arts and Craft Shows over the easterner half of the United States traveling in my Motor Home along with Sabrina my Cat of 18 yrs. This lifestyle appealed to my "Gypsy" side and I did many shows from late April to October. In the winter months I did a few Florida Shows and made my stock for the next season of travel.
In 2007 I was diagnose stage 3 breast cancer and with the help form God and my wonderful Doctors I made so far a Full Recover, however I did lose my stores and most of my business income. I did hold on to most of my stock and have been making new and unique jewelry and doing some small shows as well as Branching out into the Internet Side of Sales. I also became a licensed realtor in the state of Florida. To say that I have been truly Blessed in so many, many ways.
