My name is Chloé Wawrzyniak. An architect passionate about hats, I learned hat techniques as a self-taught artist for several years before deciding to take the plunge and take a CAP.
At the same time, I designed my first collection and created my Etsy shop.
The work by hand, the contact with the material, this reconversion is for me a real return to creation as I conceive it. A real means of expression.
I chose to call my brand WAW, the first 3 letters of my name. It reminds me of my origins, my family. It's a name that forged my singularity, I wanted it to be present in my work. Of these first three letters, I like the simple and graphic side, and at the same time intriguing.
This is also what I try to work on in my hats: simplicity and mystery. The hat is an accessory that, in my opinion, should make you dream.
A hat is a piece that we assume. An accessory that we choose carefully and with which we must feel strong, self-confident, elegant, unique.

Je m'appelle Chloé Wawrzyniak. Architecte passionnée de chapeaux, j'ai appris les techniques de chapellerie en autodidacte pendant plusieurs années avant décider de franchir le pas et de passer un CAP.
Dans le même temps, j'ai conçu ma première collection et créé ma boutique Etsy.
Le travail à la main, le contact avec la matière, cette reconversion est pour moi un vrai retour à la création telle que je la conçois. Un véritable moyen d'expression.
J'ai choisi d'appeler ma marque WAW, les 3 premières lettres de mon nom. Il me rappelle mes origines, ma famille. C'est un nom qui a forgé ma singularité, je voulais qu'il soit présent dans mon travail. De ces trois premières lettres, j'aime le côté simple et graphique, et en même temps intriguant.
C'est aussi ce que je cherche à travailler dans mes chapeaux : la simplicité et le mystère. Le chapeaux est un accessoire qui, selon moi, doit faire rêver.
Un chapeau, c’est une pièce qu’on assume. Un accessoire que l’on choisit avec soin et avec lequel on doit se sentir fort(e), sure de soi, élégant(e), unique.
