Bringing the beach to you - without the sandy mess!
If you're like me, you absolutely love all things beach. From the smell of the salty air to the feeling of the warm sand under your feet - that is until you have pounds of sand on the floor of your car and house!
I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and have always loved creating things with my hands. When I was younger, I loved helping my dad with whatever project he was working on, so much so that I wanted to name my first sister Home Depot.... Thankfully my parents didn't go with my suggestion! Throughout high school and college, I was always the one people came to when they needed paints, embellishments, and pretty much any other craft supply you can think of. After graduating from The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!!), I started to help friends and family decorate their homes - including crafting unique wreaths that fit their dream and budget. I soon started selling my handcrafted wreaths on Etsy as a way to share my passion for home with everyone.
Not long after starting my Etsy shop, I was browsing Instagram one day and saw an ad for resin and things changed! I fell in love with creating art using resin, especially drawing on my love for the ocean and my beach resin art items were born. Today, WLB Designs has shifted to all beach resin art home decor - including wall art, state shapes, cheeseboards, and more!
In my free time, I spend my time with my husband, our three kids Jameson, Eleanor, and Caroline, and our beagle, Hudson. We love taking walks on the beach, spending time on the boat, and being outdoors in our neighborhood. We are both huge sports fans so you can find us watching college football all day long in the fall and traveling to see friends & family, along with new places, as often as possible!
