Well Read Company, founded in 2019, is a designer and manufacturer of luxury handbags, tote bags and wallets inspired by classic literature. The earliest prototypes were loosely inspired by traditional bookbinding techniques and were painstakingly hand-sewn on founder Andrey’s living room floor in Oxford! With a mission to help customers celebrate their favourite books and "Wear Your Story," we offer high-quality, durable, and unique accessories that are guaranteed to receive a compliment or two. Literally, we've heard stories of admirers going out of their way, even following customers down the street, just to get a closer look at their book handbags!
Our products are made with vegan leather and packaged with recyclable materials, where possible, as we’re also trying to reduce our carbon footprint as a business. We believe that wearing unique, fun accessories shouldn't come at the expense of the planet, so we're all about combining style and sustainability.
