5 out of 5 starsI purchased this pattern as I had a client who wanted a custom order of a highland cow. I did purchase the other pattern by Mayflower, but it was not really necessary to do so. As an experience crocheter, the Highland cow could be created just with this pattern and the photograph. The pattern for Colby was detailed and well written. I would have appreciated more photographs for placement during assembly, but was able to figure it out from the pictures and a little bit of patience. It may be more of a challenge for a beginner crocheter to have the final product turn out the way they would like with the modification of a Highland cow. The final product is adorable and I will be using the pattern again. Job well done!
