In today's world, modern technology has taken over the smallest, most appreciative gestures of writing. Technology has replaced writing, with computers of all kinds, and text messages, and handwritten notes is presenting itself as a thing of the past, and has almost lost its' touch, when it comes to expressing a simple act of gratitude, and appreciation, such as Thank You, Thinking Of You, Keep In Touch, etc...Technology has taken the joy out of going to the post office, buying a stamp, and mailing your card, in anticipation of the expression, the recipient will have on their face. I am determined to keep the gesture alive by sending a note or two to someone well deserving, and to the least of their expectations. Not everyone has the privilege to own a computer, or the ability to use one, let alone, the capabilities of texting ....Technology will be challenged to replace a smile, or a mail delivered card with your handwriting on it, to a love one. A smile of surprise, excitement, appreciation, and thoughtfulness will always be Priceless!
