About the Designer, Bryan Vaigneur - This Charleston, South Carolina native was born into a family with a legacy of passion for fashion and design. Bryan spent most of his childhood fishing and swimming in the creeks and coastal waters of the Lowcountry. It was no mishap however that his spark for creativity and design was discovered at a young age. When he wasn't being a mischievous young boy, he would curiously watch his aunt, a jewelry designer, as she created and made unique jewelry pieces. He also spent time in his mother's clothing boutique where shop talk was all about fashion. After earning a BS in Business Management at the University of South Carolina, Bryan joined the family's retail business. The family owns and operates upscale women's clothing boutiques and has been in business for more than 25 years. His inspiration for launching Whitley V was influenced by the birth of his daughter, Anna Whitley, in 2010. Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted in Charleston and can be described as eye-catching statement necklaces with rich, bold colored semi-precious stones to delicate feminine pearl necklaces embellished with druzy pendants. Each piece of the collection is sure to polish off the perfect look for any occasion. In a very short time Whitley V jewelry has found its way across the country into boutiques where style and fashion are the cutting edge. Bryan resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife Liz, their daughter Anna Whitley, and Luke their Boykin Spaniel.
