We're back!
It has been almost 10 years since we started a business together… our name was always about our location. My mom lived in the Minnesota (Yankee) and I lived in the Alabama (Belle) and we ran Yankee Belle from 1,000 miles apart. We made jewelry. Each piece hand made and sold in boutiques across 15 states. We traveled to Haiti to teach women in Haiti Teen Challenge (An incredible non-profit organization that provides faith based support and job development for adults. The students in this program are escaping addiction, gangs, prostitution, and are taught about Jesus Christ as well as skills for gainful employment). They made and sold their own jewelry and it was such a gift to play a small part. While jewelry was an incredible season for us and we still support the programs with Haiti Teen Challenge our own products have shifted.
Now we live 6 blocks away in the same town on Holly Lane and Park Avenue. We started thinking of ways we could evolve our business and changing our name is just the beginning. Thank you for joining us and we look forward to creating pieces for you.
