I am a wife and mother raised and surrounded by creative people. My grandfather was an artist here in my home town of Charleston, SC. My mom is also a creative soul who has her own Etsy shop. Being raised in Charleston, where the arts are a major part of our community, the love of art was instilled in me from my youth and is a large part of who I am. I had a small photography business, but realized that photography was more of a hobby rather than a true passion. I began to delve into embroidery because I love the large variety of products I can design and make.
I'm blessed to have a studio in my home and enjoy this place as a haven for my creative mind.

I'm the mother to a very special son who is 10! He has a comical sense of humor, wants to be the center of attention, loves music, loves art, loves sports, and loves to learn new ASL signs! He also has Childhood Apraxia of Speech. For the first 10 years of his life, he was a busy boy and weeks were filled with Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy.

I'm the mother to a precious 7 year old little girl. She is one determined and independent child! She loves her brother more than anything and wants to do everything he does! And I mean EVERYTHING! She also has a very comical personality and will let you know if you aren't paying enough attention to her. She loves to dance and sing, all things Taylor Swift, loves to color and cook.

Finally, I'm the mother to my last little one! He's almost 2 and by far my most mischievous child. He has such a curious personality. SO interested in everything, especially things in my studio. He loves to throw balls, build with blocks, and all things Hockey.

In case you're curious about the arrows - I've always loved the symbolism behind the arrow. For instance, a bundle of five arrows signifies strength. Two arrows pointing away from each other means war. But a broken arrow can mean peace. Two crossed arrows means friendship. And one of my favorite meanings - an arrow being pulled back on the bow can symbolize life dragging someone down, whereas the arrow being released propels them straight ahead into something new and positive.
