Information Collected by Me:

In order to process your Etsy order from Alaskan Knit Gifts, I require certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, shipping address, payment information, and the details (ie. size, color or quantity) of the product that you are ordering. You can also give me additional information if you would like me to personalize a note
to a gift recipient.

How information is used:

I use this information to fulfill your Etsy order, and to comply with Etsy's seller policies and terms of use.
If you provide affirmative consent (which can be revoked at any time) to be added to my email list, I use your information to send you emails.

Information Sharing:

I only share information for limited, necessary reasons with the following:

~ I share information with Etsy as required to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

~ Service providers. I have to share your address with the United States Postal Service in order to ship and track your order. If you give affirmative consent to be on my email list, your information may be used by my email marketing hosting service (will be privacy shield certified). This information will be shared only to the extent needed to perform these services.

Data Retention:

I only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with my services or as described above in my Privacy Policy. Occasionally I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal obligations regulations that might arise. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 18 months or less.

Your rights:

You may access the information I have at any time. Just contact me.

You may also have the right to object to, to change, restrict my use of, or have me delete your personal information. Except in circumstances where I am required to store data for legal reasons, I will generally delete or change your personal information upon request.

You may raise concerns (within the EU, if you reside there) with your local data protecting authority if you have concerns about my use of your information as stated above.
