You should sell this.....
It's true that crafting has always been a part of my life. I remember my mom always making crafts with my brother and I growing up, trying to pass on the love for it. (Heck, I ended up working in a craft store for 19years!!) Her creativeness always showcasing throughout the house especially around Halloween and Christmas. Halloween always was and still is my most beloved holiday and if I had things my way, my house would be "Halloween Ready" all year long. But I digress.... (yeah, Sophia will always be my favorite Golden Girl)
A few years ago, for my bestie's birthday I wanted to make her something special. Not only was it her birthday, but she had just moved. Her, being just as obsessed with all things HP related as I was, I knew exactly what I wanted to make her. Thus, the key holder, which is a main staple on my site, was born. She LOVED it! During that time I had another friend, a very talented and encouraging woman, who I would always show my latest crafting to, encouraged me to open up a shop and sell things like this. At this point, I was always making things for friends/family and was always overly critical of my work. So it took some major convincing from this friend and with a final push I jumped in. It wasn't long before I created new things and sales took off! I'll always be greatful for that "push"<3.
I've been a part of Etsy since 2014, but it wasn't until 2017 when Always Lumos Creations was born. Every day since that first sale has been a labor of love and I can't wait to see what the future brings!
