Hello and welcome to Ancient Sage Designs! I am Shazeeda, the embroidery designer and owner of this little shop. My design style is inspired by centuries-old architectural tiles, ceramics, and textile patterns found in museums around the world. Drawing from the artistry of the Ottoman, Mughal, Mauryan, Roman, and Egyptian empires, I love transforming ancient patterns into cross-stitch embroidery charts and crafting the models you see in this shop's product listings.
Inspired by art from the East and influenced by my travels and experiences, I enjoy showcasing the beauty of our world's cultural and natural histories through embroidery art. Most of all, I love designing and cross stitching because it allows me to slow down and focus. I am excited to offer these patterns to you so that you can also enjoy stitching these beautiful, historical, and natural designs.
