I'm a craftsperson who is interested in experimenting with cloth, felt and wool to create a range of jewellery. I produce a wide range of brooches and necklaces for the pleasure of making things and also as a source of income. There is no particular theme to my work, although the knitted prawns and felt crabs and seagulls might suggest a certain marine interest, the subject matter usually begins as a whim and is then worked on, tailored and pruned until the finished item satisfies the original notion. My jewellery is sold in galleries in London, Yorkshire and Lancashire under the banner “jewellery that puts a smile on your face” which perhaps best describes the inspiration behind my work.
