I'm Anna — a self-taught artist from Salt Lake City, Utah, with Russian roots and a lifelong love of beauty in all its forms.
As a child I tried everything: acting, writing, piano, dance, singing, jewelry making, drawing and painting. Art was always calling me. Life took me in other directions — I became a language teacher in Russia, then moved to America, finished college and became an accountant. But my artistic soul never rested.
In 2009 I made a promise to myself: a little painting or drawing every single day. I explored pencil, pastel, oil, acrylic and watercolors. After long hikes through Utah's breathtaking landscapes, I'd come home inspired and rush to paint what I'd seen — and it felt like flying.
That feeling is what I put into every piece I create. I hope it finds its way onto your walls and into your life.
