AutismChoseMe was created by Gillis Williams, also known as “The Autism Guy,” an autistic self-advocate dedicated to promoting autism acceptance, awareness, education, self-advocacy, and neurodiversity.
For Gillis, AutismChoseMe is more than a clothing brand. It is an extension of his advocacy and a way to help autistic voices, experiences, humor, and individuality be seen and celebrated.
Through speaking engagements, education, social media, and advocacy, Gillis works to help people better understand autism while encouraging acceptance of autistic and neurodivergent people for who they are.
