Let me introduce myself
Hi there! I'm Bailey Brown, the owner and artist behind Bailey’s General. All of the artwork in my shop is hand-drawn by me, inspired by my love for the natural world and years of experience as a Scientific Illustrator and graphic designer. By day, I work as a Science Communication designer, helping labs and researchers share their vital work with the world. By night, I run this shop, offering art that celebrates the beauty of nature.
Growing up, I was surrounded by nature—my dad owned a fly-fishing shop, and I spent my childhood learning about fish and raising Monarch butterflies with my mom. This hands-on, nature-filled upbringing sparked my lifelong passion for both art and science.
