Blooming Day - provider of your personal art museum
My name is Iryna Kutsyna, and I’m a self-taught Ukrainian artist, obsessed with art and birds. Due to the war, I had to flee from my homeland and now continue my work in Poland.
About 10 years ago, embroidery became my hobby which helped me deal with stress after a hard day. Since that time embroidery has been my everyday stress relief.
In my creative search, I found myself in the field of embroidered reproductions of famous paintings. First I tried brooches, and then embroidered hoop art. Recreating art made by impressionists and other great painters with needles and threads is something special for me.
I can say with confidence that embroidery is a great way to calm down no matter what happens around you. It allows you to express yourself, gives a great sense of accomplishment, helps to create something beautiful for yourself or make a gift for someone made with your own hands. It is a mindful activity that helps to develop personal qualities and soft skills. It teaches you patience and perseverance which are important in other areas of life. It also reminds you that big things start with small stitches. Just don’t be afraid to start and appreciate your journey. Would you like to enjoy this journey together?
