How one little calendar turned my life around...

I remember the first time I ever received my first datebook. It was a small 4x4 annual calendar from the Hallmark Store. There was something just so fascinating about that little book that filled me with joy. At the time the only schedule I had was to go to school, yet, that little book made me feel like I was unstoppable. When the new year approached, I always made a point to go to the Hallmark store to pick up my little calendar.

Who would have ever thought that would have led me down the rabbit hole of planning. I've always been organized but knowing I could just jot down a funny joke I heard, a quote I stumbled upon, or write down an actual appointment, made being a planner girl so much more special.

To me, my planner was and will always be my "adult diary".

I've always been a fan of paper planners, but one day in my life changed the way I look at paper planners. You see, like most of us planner girls, my planner always came with me where ever I went, and that included the office. I remember one day I had to leave my office in a hurry and didn't realize I left my planner on my desk. When I arrived back at my desk, I caught one of my coworkers flipping through the pages.

Of course she tried her best to wiggle her nosey self out of the situation, but she failed miserably. It was at that moment I vowed to find an alternate way to keep my thoughts, dreams, aspirations and appointments to myself and search for a planner that would keep nosey nellies out of my business.

When I first heard about digital planning, I was intrigued and knew it was going to be my salvation. Not only could I keep it on my person, but if I had to leave the office again in a hurry, I knew my tablet would be locked.

Needless to say, that nosey coworker is gone, but my love for my digital planner grows deeper and more meaningful every single day.

I thank you for reading my story, and I hope my planners can evoke some joy into your life, as they do mine.
