It all started with a paintbrush.
In the year 2000, Kari picked up a paintbrush. However, there wasn't any paint on it. Because she was a toddler.
But then, fast-forward a couple (or very many) years, and the paintbrush made a re-appearance. No, it wasn't the EXACT same paintbrush, but you get the point. And, this time, there WAS paint on the brush... well, after she finally got the paint container cap opened, which broke a few fingernails in the process. Maybe that's just why everyone always says there's got to be a little bit of pain in the creation of art...
But, anyway, with a simple brush and a few finicky paint tubes, Kari made it her journey to teach herself how to make the beautiful pictures she wanted to see in the world. Or... well, maybe just the few pictures she wanted to see on her bedroom walls because, let's be honest, no one should have to stare at boring, colorless walls every night in between counting sheep.
But then, as her skills of opening the tubes began to slowly improve, so did the number of paintings she wanted to create. And then... the vast number of pictures began to fill up her parents' basement. And so she decided to start clearing them out the only viable way she knew how...
