This shop has undergone quite a transformation since its initial inception. At first, I thought I had found a focus on jewelry making, however quickly discovered my many years of knitting experience translated just as well to crochet, and back in early 2022, I decided to make pattern design my main focus.
The evolution of my craft has been as enormous, to say the least, as has my commitment to providing size inclusive, quality patterns that allow makers of all walks to create something flattering and unique for themselves.
I hope you'll find something here to your taste, and if you'd like to see more of my work, including both pattern and personal projects, I am most active over on Instagram @chiaroscurosity_designs.
I've also started a YouTube channel (Chiaroscurosity) where I create long form videos for my personal projects and discussions about crochet, in general.
I do still enjoy jewelry making, though relegate the sale of such items to in person events and local consignment here in Winston-Salem. However, if you see something you like on my Instagram, please reach out and I'll be happy to make a custom listing for you.

5 out of 5 starsI haven't finished it yet but so far I've been able to follow this pattern reasonably well. I have dyslexia and other difficulties so there were a few moments I got frustrated and confused but that's an issue I have with most written patterns. The images included are incredibly helpful without providing too much information overwhelm. I would say I'm perhaps a confident beginner. I've been using DK wool yarn so I fully expect the finished item to be a bit different but so far it's going well. The skull parts are easy and intuitive enough that I can do them now from memory. I highly recommend this pattern, it's incredibly cheap for how well thought-out it is. I'm excited to finish my piece.

How do I access my pattern?
To access your pattern, you must be on a web browser. You cannot download files from the Etsy app.

What hook/yarn/material do I use for XYZ pattern?
All material information is provided in the listing description, the photo gallery which contains the information page directly from the pattern, and the pattern, itself.
I do not answer questions about materials, that information is given to you amply at every point both before and after purchase of the pattern.
Pattern Support
Pattern support is offered within reason, and only after you have employed all other means of solving the issue yourself. It is implicitly assumed that, having purchased the pattern, you read all of the listing details, including the sample instructions, and are capable of working primarily from a written pattern.

Refunds on digital purchases.
Per both mine and Etsy's policies regarding digital purchases, there are no refunds.
It is stated multiple times in the first listing photo, the title, and the description of pattern listings that the listing is for a DIGITAL CROCHET PATTERN PDF FILE and that there are no refunds on digital purchases. You have not purchased a physical item and you will not receive a refund if you bought this on the assumption you were buying a finished clothing item, or for any other reason.
