Felt Supplies, Handmade Creations & Christmas Decor
As the name Christmas Keepsakes suggests, I love Christmas and all the projects, traditions, and decorating that go along with it. But over the years, my shop has grown to include so much more!
It all started with hand-sewn Christmas stockings covered in beads and sequins. I use the same patterns my grandmother, Mamaw, used when she made stockings for my sisters and me as children. She also made stockings for all her grandchildren, and I’ve carried on that tradition by making stockings for my own grandchildren. Those stockings hold special memories for me, and they’re still one of my favorite things to create.
Along the way, I fell in love with working with wool blend felt. It’s soft, durable, and wonderful to create with. When I discovered the beautiful colors available in the high-quality felt I use today, I realized I wanted to share them with other crafters, too. That’s how my felt supplies became part of the shop!
My love of felt opened the door to all kinds of new projects, and getting an embroidery machine added even more possibilities. Today, you’ll find felt sheets and supplies, felt boards and die cuts, embroidered items, Christmas stockings and decorations, and fun things for children.
Although my shop has grown well beyond Christmas, I have to admit that Christmas projects are still my favorite!
I love making things that inspire creativity, bring back happy memories, or simply make someone smile. My passion for felt, sewing, embroidery, and all things crafty has grown over the years—sometimes a little more than I can keep up with!
