Great having the flexibility to pick whichever cards strike my fancy or for what I am in need of. I always like to have several all occasion cards on hand and Claire's designs fit the bill. Would love more landscape cards!!

Distinctive greeting cards, one illustrated storybook, and various cheerful odds & ends

I started this Etsy shop while living in Brooklyn to supplement my income as a touring musician with The Bowmans. A lot of these sketches were made on the road, often when I'd be missing a person.

I paint, print, slice, and package everything from my sunny apartment in Berkeley, CA surrounded by a couple junipers and a big oak tree, which are frequented by crows and squirrels.

This is where I created Mert. Mert is the main character of the holiday book I wrote and illustrated about an anxious evergreen trying to save his home. You can order the book right here in my shop! Some of my cards feature characters from "Mert the Anxious Evergreen," but work great as stand-alone greetings.

When I signed up with a student law clinic, I thought I was trademarking the book's characters, but I ended up with Mert, the brand! Mert TM now represents all my art cards and "paper products." I plan to add prints, postcards, and original artworks, including the currently sold-out paper mache critters.
