Who am I? Well, I'm a big believer in doing whatever you have to do to be happy. Eight years ago I bought my first mountain bike and it changed my life. I bought a truck and a 36' fifth-wheel and have been on the road ever since. I like to say that everything you need to know about life you can learn from a mountain bike: 1. Keep moving. 2. Choose a line and commit. 3. Trust yourself. Trust the bike. Trust the earth. 4. Don't think. 5. Relax. When you're rigid, you can't absorb shock. 6. Live in the moment. 8. Have fun. 9. Never stop exploring. 10. There is no wrong road. 11. Don't fight the fall. 12. Mosquitos can't bite you if you swallow them whole.

Frequently asked questions

Why should I buy from you?

Quality. I pull product that is flawed in any way. I don't pass that along to you. Most of my caps now are custom made and I check every cap with every vial for the best fit. You won't receive anything I wouldn't want to receive.

Why else should I buy from you?

Integrity. I'm careful about who I buy from and even the agents I employ. When you buy from me you not only help me pay the bills every month you're supporting some really wonderful -- positive, generous, honest and hard-working -- people who helped me through this year of transition and kept this shop on the map. I didn't really get the marketing gene so it's hard for me to sell myself but I received a message from a friend this week after a rough couple of days and she said, "Jen, you were born accountable." I consider that to be pretty much the best compliment ever.

What if I am unhappy with my order?

I'm happy to take any item back for any reason.

Custom and personalized orders

I'd love to know about the products you would like to see me carry. I'm always happy to try to find what you need -- long term or just a one-time order.

What shipping methods do you use?

I ship only via USPS except in special cases.

If you made a mistake will you pay the shipping for me to return my item/order?

Yes. Absolutely. And I'll make up for any errors or delays any way I can.

How quickly do you ship? And how do I reach you quickly!

We've entered new territory this year. Traffic is up 300-500%. I wear every hat in the business and work pretty much every waking hour. I had to push my handling time way out. It's currently at 8 business days which is 10 to 12 regular days. I'm happy to bump up any order for any reason so please let me know if you need it sooner. If you don't hear from me it likely just means I'm knee-deep in something else that needs doing. I also have no way of bulk-messaging buyers. If you need to get my attention quickly, place "ASAP" at the front of your message and this will show up on my phone and I'll drop what I'm doing and get right back to you.

Are you a company or just one person?

It's just me. :) Even when things are running smoothly I work two shifts a day During the day I send orders out; at night I order and sort product and respond to e-mail. If you haven't heard from me I'm either sick, or completely deluged.

This is a train that never stops. I give it my all, every day, but yes -- sometimes I fail spectacularly. If I do I will do anything in my power to make it up to you. I care about strangers as much as I do my own family but I'm wearing every hat and given current economic conditions it is not an option to hire anyone.

Why is there a "quantity" and a "how many" on some of the listings?

The quantity option is part of the Etsy template. In order to offer a variety of quantity option I had to add the the "how many" pull-down menu. The easiest way to figure out how many you've ordered it to multiply the "quantity" x "how many". This way you can order 2, 5 or 10 (times a quantity of 1)...or 2 sets of 2 (if you only need four).

What kind of glue should I use?

Any good craft glue should work. Superglue is not a great choice as it may cloud the glass. Some people like E6000 but my personal favorite is Duco Cement (green tube on a green and yellow cardboard backing -- you can find it at many hardware stores or here on Etsy). It has a smoother consistency than E6000 and dries enough to work with in about 10 minutes...and it's really strong once it's had a chance to dry completely. For the best possible bond you can clean the components with rubbing alcohol. You can also set the vials upright in rice (or something similar) to dry. This is helpful when capping vials that have a round bottom.
