Dark Cycle Clothing
The Dark Cycle story begins with two awkward in love teenagers, and late nights at Kinko’s making art with pens, scissors, tape and the Xerox machine. Owners Coryn and Adam equipped with a love for design and screen printing would then squirrel away money and head to the local screenprinter with their designs, pining over the massive screenprinting equipment they couldn’t yet afford, and get twentyish shirts printed with their design. Then, it was off to sell them at local punk shows.
Fast forward a few years into their marriage and Adam was managing a corporate screenprinting shop. He had started hand-drawing some illustrations of animals on bicycles, screenprinting them to wear on his 15 mile bike commute. It wasn’t until some consistent persuading from friends that Coryn put their shirts up for sale online and the Dark Cycle Clothing was born.
Over 100,000 shirts later, the designs are still hand drawn and hand screen printed with love.
