At an Art Crawl one weekend, I was inspired by all the art that I saw, and my eyes were opened to the brilliant colors, different textures, and variety. I spent several hours in one building talking to the artists. While there, I met one artist who became my teacher. After several months, my teacher told me that the best thing I could do to advance my skills was to have a regular space with my paints available, so that I could walk in and create. I made one phone call to the artist building that inspired me earlier, and just as fate works, a studio ‘opened up yesterday’ and it became mine. I began to create my own art in a tremendous burst of creativity.

I opened my studio and participated in the next Art Crawl as a professional. My art was well received and I developed a local following, even being awarded “Artist of the Year” in 2014. I have since evolved and adapted my technique to many surfaces, including tile, plastic, glass, paper, wood and canvas. My medium is well suited for home décor (tabletops, marble, doors, tile) as well as traditional art-on-the-wall.

My art is one-of-a-kind, with a deep healing quality. Acting as a channel for inspiration, I often do not know what will come through; fascinating images miraculously appear. So many people have told me that my art contains healing energy, and now I teach workshops on this subject for students to learn and experiment. I also create energetic portraits where the artwork captures a person’s inner essence.

I live in Laguna Beach, California where the energy of the sun and the ocean are propelling me to new inspired artistic creations and I am connecting with the art lovers in this community.
