Create for Life
I began my art career as an enthusiastic five year old when my mother let me dabble in her oil paints. Mrs. Corum, my 4th grade teacher at Webster Elementary, picked a freckle faced 10 year-old as class mural committee chairman. Beginning with that prestigious appointment, my school years in Lewiston, Idaho were crowned with the honor of winning a statewide art competition my senior year. I followed my passion to Brigham Young University where my creative endeavors were refined by stellar fine arts mentors and instructors. While attending BYU I met my future husband John, and began the greatest career of a lifetime. Seven children later and a relentless need to CREATE has brought me to this place where I meld my love of family, painting, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Painting the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has given me confidence to refine my skills, connect with others, and deepen my appreciation for these sacred buildings we call temples. Art, bicycling, children, faith. My passions, but not in order.
