5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely brilliant, thank you so much. I used the instructions as a baseline for painting the owl on my wall in acrylic, still super easy to follow and a great guideline for different paints and medium. I've been back and bought 4 more guides. Love them thank you!!

Siobhan, this incredible work, I am so pleased that you were able to not only adapt the lesson for a different medium, but were also able to adapt the perch! Thanks for leaving such a lovely 5* review, it really is appreciated, and enjoy those next four lessons. Paul🎨

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful Hummingbird pattern for decoupage. Protected when shipped. Arrived well. Thanks.

Not sure this review is for my item, as the Hummingbird PDF is a downloadable document, and is a watercolour painting lesson. But so glad you've had a good experience on Etsy. Paul 🎨

A bit about me - Paul Hopkinson, also known as The Devon Artist
I started drawing when I was knee-high to a grasshopper, but didn’t pick up my first brush until the age of eleven. I now paint as a full time artist and have over 40 years of experience. Whilst I love every minute of my work, I could do with a few more painting hours each day!
I live in North Devon in the UK and spend many weekends out and about in the local countryside. So when I’m not painting wildlife, I like looking for and watching it in the natural environment.
When I am asked what would be my preferred subject, I would say without a doubt birds and animals! I love trying to get the life within the eyes in my finely detailed, realistic paintings.
I teach my style and techniques through written PDFs and online school membership (both available on Etsy!), YouTube and my website. Membership of my online school gives you access to the entire back catalogue of real time video tutorials. I create and edit videos of many of my painting projects, these are building into a substantial library of lessons.
I really do feel that I have found my niche, I absolutely love teaching others and love even more to see the progress people make as they work on the projects. My paint brushes are still very rarely dry, I am still painting, but I also spend a lot of time video editing!
