I started scrapbooking over 15 years ago which has evolved into paper crafting and crafting with other materials. I work beyond the 9 to 5 as a business owner of Eclecticat444Decor, LLC so when I'm not at my day job I'm working at running my new business and perfecting my craft! I can be found at my craft table with my cat and music of course! I can lose myself for hours creating art. I’m often asked about the business name, where does it come from? What does it mean? I have an eclectic style and my Frankie Cat loves to watch me create. One day, I said to him, "This piece is going to be soooo eclectic my cat" and thus Eclectic and Cat turned into Eclecticat and the 444 is significant because I made this new career choice at the age of 44 in the 4th month (April), so hence the name "Eclecticat"! Plus, in my household, "It's All About The CAT!"

I joined the ETSY community as a buyer in 2014 and opened ETSY shop in November 2015. I'm a Mixed Media Artist at heart combing all the things I love - Faith, Art, Positive Thoughts, love for Music, and love for technology - channeling them into tangible pieces. I also love finding new life for items by upcycling them into a piece of art - scratched records, spare parts from all kinds of gadgets. I enjoy finding a new purpose for old items and keeping things out of our landfills and beautifying our planet! I get energy tinkering with things and coming up with ideas and putting those ideas into action!

All of my items are "one of a kind" or slightly similar. Eclectic is my favorite style so you will see an eclectic array throughout the shop. My passion is to create art pieces, greeting cards and various other crafts that are unique and individual as you! I believe you deserve to find a piece of art/décor item that resonates with you and affordable as well. I create from my heart whatever comes to mind intuitively including current trends and timeless designs that never go out of style. Custom orders will be accommodated based on my availability, as mentioned above in my professional life I am an Administrative Professional so all my artwork is created after hours. I have been a craft artist all my life and I attribute the birth of this shop from my start in scrapbooking and designing layouts in 1994 after the birth of my daughter. My passion for creating is continually evolving. I also enjoy reading, learning, listening to music, spending time in nature and spending time with family including our 4 pets - 2 Dogs and 2 Cats!
