As a child I was surrounded by Talented Women, women who could create the most amazing things from objects found or discarded.
These women were my Grandmothers, my Aunts, my Neighbours and most importantly my Mother.
Women who from necessity had to use the things they found around their home to create everyday objects, special keepsakes, or a fancy dress for a school frolic.
They honed their skills,
they taught one another,
they encouraged each other,
they sat with me,
they took the time to teach....
and for this I will forever love these special women xxx
I hope today, you have time to sit beside a little girl or boy, and share your skills, chat gently with them, and encourage them to use their hands to create something in their very own special way.

My pure wool felt brooches are so much fun to both make and wear, I hope you love them as much as I enjoy making them.
I collect and hunt for vintage treasures, I have a vast collection myself and love the 'hunt' for new items, alas there is only so much space in my little home so sharing some of my finds with you allows me to continue collecting and I enjoy finding amazing vintage pieces to add to my store.
I sew, crochet, knit and I make a variety of Mixed Media Pieces.
I have been published in many PaperCraft Magazines here in Australia and in a couple of international magazines as well.
I also have a growing interest in succulent gardening...
