I am an aspiring shepherdess who has been living with sheep since 2019. I grew up on my family's dairy farm in Hinckley, MN and returned to continue working the business and added my small flock of sheep.
My desire is to learn how to holistically work with the land and animals. Through natural management practices such as rotational grazing the sheep, I hope to build soil health as well as learn to work with their beautiful wool to provide quality products with a story. Regenerating this land and creating community is important and I believe farming creates a wonderful bridge between the two. I am at the beginning of this journey and am excited to continue on.
The wool products in this shop are made from wool grown by my flock. The wool is sheared every spring as a way to keep the animals healthy and cool in summer months. From the farm, the wool is sent out to be cleaned, then returned home to be dyed and made into finished product for purchase.
