My name is Laurie Higinbotham. I live in Port Charlotte, Florida, between Sarasota and Fort Myers. I am originally from Miami. Most of my inspiration comes from the beauty of nature which I am surrounded by in a small Florida town not far from the Gulf beaches.

I actually started making jewelry in the 6th grade with my first small business called Beads Inc. I guess I was born with the desire to create jewelry. I remember walking around my elementary school with a small booklet I used to sketch designs and track my sales on the playground. I formed Eye Candy Jewelry Designs 15 years ago and opened my Etsy shop 10 years ago.

All of my designs are created by myself. I typically sketch the design first. I have a variety of stones and materials I have collected over the years.
