5 out of 5 starsI did the winter in the valley cross stitch pattern. I really enjoyed stitching this pattern! The chart was simple to follow, well laid out, and the whole project was great fun from start to finish. The finished design is absolutely beautiful and very satisfying to see come together. I stitched mine on 14-count Aida using a 12-inch hoop. While it worked well, I think I would recommend using 16 or 18-count fabric if possible, as the finished piece is quite large and took longer to complete than I originally expected. My only real criticism is the number of colours used. There are quite a lot, which can make the project more expensive to kit up, and some of the shades are so similar that I’m not sure they all add a noticeable difference to the finished piece. That said, the end result is lovely, and I would definitely recommend.

Are your cross-stitch patterns compatible with Pattern Keeper?
Instructions for how to load your pattern into this app are available, but please note that results may vary. Please etsy message me for details. Please note I am not affiliated with Pattern Keeper and am unable to troubleshoot difficulties with this or any other app.
In the cross-stitch pattern are black symbols and white symbols different?
No, the symbol indicates the colour floss to use and it doesn't make a difference if it is black or white. For the most part the symbol will be white when the colour it is on is darker, or to more clearly show a change of colour.
Do you have cross-stitch pattern files compatible with Saga?
Sorry, unfortunately I'm not able to make pattern files that are compatible for use with Saga.
I can't open the ZIP files?
On mac, you can double-click a zip file to open it. On Windows, you can right-click and go to "extract all" to open the files. On an iphone or ipad, tap the zip file and a new folder containing the files should be created. On an Android phone, open 'Files', select the zip file, and tap extract. If you have any trouble with your files at all please send me an etsy message and I'll be able to help you out!
