We all come to situations that shake our faith. For me, after my son died, color drained from my world. Many nights I sat under the moon and stars, weeping for the Lord to comfort me. During that time, He gently reminded me that He created the moon to rule over the darkness. Even during dark times He is still in total control. Jesus challenged me to continue to follow Him even though I didn’t know where He was leading. As He healed and comforted me, slowly the sun began to illuminate new colors and possibilities.
My passion has always been reading and teaching Scripture. In the winter of 2018 I began Bible Journaling. I started doodling and then I picked up a paintbrush. As I paint I dwell on the Scriptures and find an element of fun and creativity as I worship the Lord.
The Lord journeyed with me through grief and now because of His goodness, my faith is flourishing. I pray that your faith flourishes through connecting with my paintings.
