How is my Soul Story Art created?
After your payment is received, I email you a confidential questionnaire that focuses on facts about you and your life path. You email the completed form back to me and I begin the creation and design process. You can choose to have me draw a card to determine your totem animal, or if you know you can tell me. If you want a card drawn about your soul path, I can do that also. It’s all covered in the questionnaire.

Mixed media is artwork that is rendered using a variety of art products. For Soul Story Art, I use both soft and hard surfaces, professional quality watercolor and acrylic paints and mediums, crystals, beads, cold press watercolor paper, acid free markers, metallics, charcoal, and more. Because each piece is unique, the variety of materials varies. The finished artwork will have a high gloss finish which I find outstanding for this interpretation.
SunCatchers are made using driftwood, forged copper, crystals, beads, charms, and other materials.
Prayer beads vary depending on the type you choose. I make rosaries, Anglican beads, malas, and pearls of life.

What size is the finished piece? Your completed Soul Story Art will be 11” x 14” and about 1” thick. It is lightweight and will be ready to hang on your wall. The hanging hardware is professionally installed on the back. You will need a nail in the wall.
Crystal Sun Catchers are usually 6-12” across and they hang 18-24” below the driftwood cross bar. It is ready to hang on your deck or in a window.
Prayer beads vary depending on the type you choose.

Gently wipe your Soul Story with a soft slightly damp cloth or you can lightly dust it with a feather duster. Be gentle with it especially around the crystals and beads. The crystal sun catchers will hang outside and can be gently wiped with a soft, damp cloth. It’s best to hang them where there is some protection from the elements but it is built to live out of doors. Remove rust with 000 steel wool. Then apply a light coat of wax and buff with soft cloth.. I just let them patina naturally. Prayer beads can be wiped with a soft cloth or jewelry polishing cloth. Do not put them in tumblers or ultrasonic jewelry cleaning machines.

Repairs and restringing are available on many items including rosaries, necklaces, sun catchers, etc. Price is based on the job and the materials used. My repairs include using high quality, professional bead stringing wire. If you want sterling silver or gold filled metals used, the prices will be substantially higher. It works best to have a video or phone chat so that I can find out what you want. Of course, if it’s a piece that I made, it will be remade using the same quality materials and workmanship. Allow 4-6 weeks or longer for repair completion - supplies may need to be ordered and at this time I am experiencing shipping delays from most of my suppliers. Message me for a quote.

Yes, I am happy to make a custom set for you. Price is based on the type of beads, length, and type of cross or crucifix. You should have an idea of what main color you would like and I can make suggestions for accents. I use 49 strand beading wire, used for the finest jewelry.
