Same team, new journey
We have worked together of a variety of projects and brands since 2012. The enjoyment and success of our history apparel brand (see CivilWarTees on Etsy) has given us the honor of using our creativity to tell stories and help keep history alive for thousands of people all over the country. Gettysburg Candles is a project that allows us to challenge ourselves to connect people to Gettysburg and history in a new way, through the sense of smell.
Senses and personal likes are very unique to the individual, and locations around Gettysburg do not actually posses any specific "scent," so in our Battlefield Collection we wanted to approach this challenge by capturing the essence of what we feel a location is. When you light your candle, picture the place on the label in your mind, allow the scent to encompass your senses, and transport yourself there mentally along with all the memories that you've collected. If you've never been to Gettysburg, these fragrances are what these places reflect to us, so we hope you can enjoy the combination of notes in your very own way. We've teamed up with NJ candlesmith Harmony from Old Soul Artisan to help us capture the feelings and emotions these places radiate to turn them into something you can enjoy from the comfort of your home.
