What's in a Name
Originally, Glasscreekstudio was the shop name for years while creating and selling Leaded Stained Glass, Fussed Glass and Wire Sculpting. I loved the name the first time I saw it on a sign near Mammoth, Ca. We were coming home from a craft show down south and there it was. So it become our studio name and we traveled with it for years.
When I opened my first Etsy shop, Glass Creek Studio was filled with my handcrafted jewelry until I decided I needed an outlet for my vintage overload. I not only had had a Vintage Clothing store for years, but the thrill of the hunt has never left me, nor the fervor of holding that special object with a story to tell.
And so, it has evolved and as my vintage has grown and grown, more of those items are ending up on the site, Glasscreekstudio. And even though I don't have my jewelry listed along side any longer, I still maintain another store for my handcrafted pieces. They have found a new home at www.Etsy.com/shop/eleniemantonsen.
I share both passions of collecting and handcrafting and Glass Creek Studio has been and will always be a big part of where I came from and where I am right now.
So, the name doesn't necessarily speak volumes for the products, but what's in a name anyway?
