As a beginner-ish sewist, I found this pattern very easy to follow! I love that there’s a video to go along with it, too!

Well designed pattern with clear instructions - for a few steps I had to consult the video, but for the most part as a confident beginner I could get by with just the written instructions. Made one for myself with some scrap linen-viscose fabric (worked well for a less structured bag), and just bought some corduroy and midweight canvas to make more for friends!

i LOVE this pattern! super easy to follow for someone who's still a beginner-ish, and i learned a lot of different techniques. very clear instructions and i might make another someday! some of my seams and my zipper aren't the cleanest but that is user error lol. bag is very durable and the large size can hold a lot of things (mine carries a water bottle, binder, notebook, sketchbook, pencil pouch, e reader, gum, keys etc).

Really great and easy to read instructions. Love the idea of the facings at the top inside. Ended up making 2, taking inspiration from another review to give it a backpack option too

Such a easy pattern and tutorial to follow. I would consider my abilities an advanced beginner and found this very manageable and even learned some new skills along the way. Video tutorial helped a lot, along with the instructions provided. I decided to change mine up and put the pocket on the outside and some open pockets on the inside. I couldn't manage the last top stitches by the strap as my fabric was too thick at that point, but it still looks good non the less.

Was a bit out of my comfort zone as a new beginner because of the zipper but the instructions were helpful and the video tutorial makes it a breeze to follow!

Awesome pattern! The only thing I wish was added was a strap template in the pattern- still easy to make & instructions were awesome!
