Since I was a little girl, I've always loved and appreciated all things art - and creating things out of materials most disregarded. I found it a form of therapy; a way to release pent up energy and cleanse the soul, while reducing the amount of waste I made.

One day on a hike, when all the elements came together ever so perfectly, I realized nature is the ultimate piece of art! The way the greens of the mountains blend with the blues of the sky. The early morning songs of birds chirping. The dance of wild flowers in the wind. I was instantly inspired to use nature as my canvas! Thus the birth of lace&sediment.
