Our story began with a family, a love of handmade work and the sound of hammers in our workshop.
More than 14 years ago, we made a difficult decision together. We left our jobs and took a leap of faith, choosing to build our life around something we truly loved — creating things with our own hands.
It was not an easy step, but we believed in each other and in the idea of building something of our own.
Our two sons grew up alongside us in the workshop. From an early age, they were surrounded by leather, tools, sewing, cutting and the sounds of craftsmanship. For us, the workshop has never been just a place to work. It has always been part of our family life.
Today, LadybuQ Art is still a small family studio in Poland. We design and handcraft every bag ourselves, one piece at a time. We personally choose the leather, develop our designs and take care of every detail.
We love natural leather because no two pieces are exactly alike. Its texture, color and natural variations give every bag its own character. We don't want our bags to look mass-produced. We want them to feel personal, authentic and made by human hands.
For us, handmade is not simply a technique. It is a way of life.
Over the years, our work has taken us beyond our workshop. We have had the opportunity to present our creations at Berlin Fashion Week and other fashion shows — experiences we are incredibly proud of as a small family business.
After more than 14 years on Etsy and thousands of orders from customers around the world, we are still here doing what we love: designing, making and sending our handmade leather bags from our family workshop in Poland.
