I started on my creative journey by trying to make a warm cozy home for my family as a young wife and mother. With a limited budget, a love for sewing and enough curiosity to figure out how to make things, my creativity was born. I was truly surprised that it became such a passion. I became an artist learning to paint with, oils, acrylics and watercolors. For many years I sold my art through Art Festivals and galleries. My works are in collections all over the world. We lived in Arizona at the time and our family decided what we truly wanted was to have a small farm. So we picked Missouri and moved across the country. We then got busy building homes and selling them to pay for our farm. This is where I get to do all the things I love. We grow a vegetable garden as well as flower gardens and I get a lot of my inspiration from them. My fabric collection Botanical was created after I saw a Morning Glory vine peeking out from under a planter. Since moving to the farm I learned to design fabric and I believe that is what I enjoy the most. I can get create a repeat pattern then have it printed here in the USA at Spoonflowers headquarters in North Carolina. My fabric collections can be found at
