Designing Home Decor to Inspire Your Days
When our first child was born, I was home on maternity leave and missing my creative outlet of working as an interior designer. So I got to work on designing some pieces for our daughter's room. My first idea was to create letters for her name, we had an jungle animal theme for her room and I just loved how the letters turned out. Then I moved on to some canvas pieces to coordinate with her letters, and her room had that spark of personality I wanted it to have!
Fast forward a few years and a set of twins....and I was home again but this time more permanently and again missing my creative outlet. This was when Limepeel was first thought of. I so loved making my kids' rooms special and I wanted the chance to help every parent do the same.
And from my custom letters and canvas designs, I have started a line of wall decor for the rest of your home or office as well. Family oriented pieces, motivational pieces to keep you going, and just sweet little notes of love to remind you that life is wonderful. And one more tidbit, before you get back to shopping :) I often am asked where the name Limepeel came from....as a student in Interior Architecture I had the opportunity to take a colored pencil drawing class and limepeel was my favorite colored pencil and still is! Just the other day we were cleaning out the basement and my architect husband found his box of colored pencils and I immediately picked out the limepeel...some loves last forever!
