We make quality longyi
Longyi Brothers, the name comes from the spirit of sharing and brotherhood from which the brand emerged. I first learned about the longyi on a visit to Myanmar where it's commonly worn. Over the years it became a garment I'd use almost everyday. Friends and strangers were eager to know more about it and I would give away the ones I'd bought from Myanmar. Eventually I made my own and subsequently gave those away too. Starting the brand gave me a wonderful excuse to keep having new longyi in my wardrobe and sharing them with people.
I produce these longyi with the help of some lovely seamstresses who do a fantastic job of cutting and sewing the garments. I focus on the design and aesthetics and leave the sewing to them as they have years of experience. You can see images and a video of them producing the longyi on the website in the about section www.longyibrothers.com. They are three women who work out of a small shop on a small street in Bangkok.
