Sizing Details

We recommend finalizing all ring sizes at a local jeweler BEFORE making an order. Do not rely solely on online sizing charts which will likely be inaccurate and not account for 1/4 and 3/4 sizing. Online charts also do not account for knuckle size, which varies greatly from person to person.

If resizing is a must, please keep in mind that rings can generally be sized up or down 1 size (usually without any issue), and 2 sizes with low risk. Please check with us as this will depend on the specific ring design as possibilities will vary. Sizing beyond 2 US sizes is not recommended and risks maligning stones and weakening the shank.

Why Lucine + Co?

Lucine Co is a humble mom and pop shop, established with the hopes to promote true love and commitment.
We believe that your marriage is meant to be patient, kind and long lasting. We craft each ring to present your values and testimony.
All of our items are ethically produced with our partners in the US and Canada, and we stand behind the quality of all Lucine Co jewelry.
We believe you are the centerpiece of your love story, the purpose of our jewelry is to shine a light on your own beauty and compliment you.

Do you accept custom orders?

Yes, mostly limited to minor customization on our existing rings. If you have an idea you’d like us to make a reality, please contact us and we'll see what we can do! We retain the right to re-use and re-sell any custom designs we create.

Please note that custom orders require 4-6 weeks production time to account to account for CAD design editing, and the time required to order and cut custom stones.

How should I care for my ring?

Your Lucine + Co pieces are considered heirlooms, worthy of daily care and protection. Ensuring your jewelry looks it's best with minimal maintenance and repairs will require the following:

-Cleaning jewelry weekly with a lint-free cloth (similar to cloths for camera lenses and glasses) to avoid buildup.

-Avoiding any chemical cleaners, especially with softer stones like opals. Warm water and mild dish soap will do!

-Storing your jewelry safely in a fabric-lined jewelry box when not in use.

-Removing jewelry while sleeping, showering, exercising, swimming, using saunas, and doing handiwork.

-Applying beauty products and creams/perfume/makeup/hairspray BEFORE wearing your jewelry.

Moissanite vs. Diamond

Although Diamond has a long history of being the status quo, these days, customers are looking for a quality alternative that doesn’t break the bank.
At 9.25, Moissanite is only a 0.75 difference from Diamond on Mohs scale of hardness. With even less of a visual difference, more and more couples are opting for Moissanite engagement rings. With Moissanite, you get a higher carat size for a fraction of the price.
We acknowledge weddings can be costly occasions, so we offer you peace of mind in knowing you can spend less on your ring and more on your marriage.

Why Solid 14k Gold?

A lot of fashion jewelry is made with gold plating, where the underlying metal is solid silver, copper, or brass, making the ring less durable and of course less valuable. Overtime, the outer gold plating fades away, revealing the ring's true composition.

Solid 14k jewelry is a high quantity of pure 24k gold mixed with metal alloy to give it increased strength and durability. Rather than a plating, this is solid throughout, and is not prone to tarnishing or changing color. The exception is 14k white gold that is rhodium plated, and needs re-plating every few years to maintain brightness.

24k jewelry is not used here in the West, as it is very soft and not durable enough for our intricate designs that incorporate small accent stones.

What are your payment options?

We require full payment prior to starting production.

Do you offer a warranty?

For the lifetime of your jewelry, we will gladly offer a variety of services and repairs. 1st year of servicing is on us, just pay for insured shipping with tracking when mailing to us.

Coverage in 1st year:
-Inspection
-Cleaning/polishing
-Replacement of lost accent stones

Services available at a fee:
-Damaged prongs from wear and tear or accident
-Resizing
-Focal stone replacement (.50 ct diamond equivalent and larger)
-Damaged stones and setting (unless shown upon arrival)

Servicing outside of Lucine + Co will void warranty. We know our stones and settings best, and any tampering by alternative shops can make future servicing of your jewelry impossible to do. Warranty is non-transferable and must be requested by original buyer.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, we retain a 15% restock fee and will reimburse the remainder when you return your item within 30 days of delivery. Item must not be damaged, or show any visible signs of wear and tear. We are also not responsible for return shipping or export fees that are incurred in the process.

We refuse the right to refund orders that don't meet our requirements. Of course, your satisfaction is important to us, and we'd gladly make any adjustments within our means. Please note that additional services are subject to fees.

Customers limited to 1 exchange within 30 days, with full order value credited towards a new purchase.
