IF I DON'T SEE A PICTURE TO ENGRAVE THAT I LIKE, CAN I HAVE YOU DESIGN SOMETHING CUSTOM?
If you have a favorite character or a picture that you would like to have engraved and don't see it, message me with what you would like and I will let you know if I have it or can recreate it or not. I can do pretty much anything. You will then just choose the Custom Desgin option on the order and I will send you a mockup to approve before the engraving starts.
IF I DON'T SEE A FONT THAT I WANT TO USE OR IF I HAVE A FAVORITE FONT, CAN I HAVE THAT ENGRAVED ON MY SIGN INSTEAD?
If the font is available for me to download, it can be used. If there is a charge for me to download it, that fee will be charged to you, but most fonts can be found online for free. Just add what font you would like to the Personalization area on the item when you order.
WILL THE PICTURE AND LETTERS ON MY ENGRAVING BE BLACK?
If you are ordering a wood engraved product, the pictures and the lettering on the iteam wil NOT be black in color. They will be more of a medium to dark brown. The laser does burn the wood, but the residual black ash that is left behind in the engraved area is brushed away before staining or sealing, leaving the medium to dark brown colored wood behind.
WHY ARE THERE VARIATIONS IN COLOR OF THE ENGRAVED AREAS OF MY PRODUCT?
No two pieces of wood are exactly the same and even within the same piece of wood, there are different densities, grain and textures that can cause some slight variations in color of the engraved areas. This is absolutely normal.
WHY ARE THERE KNOT HOLES ON MY CAMP SIGN?
Every effort is made when picking wood to use for the camp signs, to find wood that has little to no knot holes or blemishes on it. But even then, knot holes can no be avoided some times. If a piece of wood has knots, we will do our best to make sure that it is either on the back side of the camp sign, or that the knot does not interfere with the picture or words.
DO YOU OFFER EXPRESS SHIPPING?
We do offer express shipping, but sometimes it's not about the shipping time as much as it is about the production time. Since Items are custom made to order, there can be up to 10 days for production depending on what the product, i.e. stained and polyurethaned wood can take up to 4 or 5 days to do 2 coats on each side with proper drying time between. If you would like to know more about express shipping, please message me first.
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY OF CAMP SIGNS TO FORT WILDERNESS IF I AM CUTTING IT CLOSE ON TIME?
We do offer delivery to Fort Wilderness Campground if you are cutting it close and we can't ship it to your home in time. We still need to allow for the proper production time. There is a $15 delivery fee to cover the cost of gas and tolls to Fort Wilderness. Deliveries are usually done on either Saturday or Sunday. Please message me if you would like more information about this service.
