I love how women all over the planet wear different earrings that allow them to express their individual style. It gives me pleasure to design and hand-make jewelry that delights the wearer. When a customer spots the perfect gift, finds that "something different" she can't live without, or returns for more pieces, I'm inspired to continue creating.

I came to jewelry making later in life. I've always had a passion for the visual arts and working with my hands, whether sketching, woodworking or doing auto mechanics. And as it turns out, handcrafting jewelry combines my creative instincts, shop skills and even my interest in the thermodynamics of metals.

Although I work with both new and reclaimed metals, I especially like giving fresh life to up-cycled materials. It's rewarding to create something of beauty and function from metal that was once considered at the end of its life. The resulting wearable art, I hope, will be enjoyed for years to come.
