So many beads, so little time...
It's my daughter's fault that I got hooked into jewelry making. She left her bead collection behind when she went to college and I scarfed up the beads. Of course, I added to the collection. A lot. For years. There's no stopping me.
I've always liked playing with color, designing and decorating. I graduated from University of Wisconsin - Madison in Family Resources and Consumer Sciences and pursued a long career in retail, first at a major department store and then at a large garden center. I loved both jobs because I worked with great people and had so many creative opportunities and learned helpful life skills. I also had a lovely employee discount. Note to my late hubby: "This old thing? No, I've had it for years!" Love you, babe.
I spent my entire life in the beautiful state of Wisconsin but recently had the opportunity to relocate to Texas. I am in the rural foothills of Wimberley, just outside of Austin. I am amazed at all of the new things I see and do everyday. I am inspired and renewed and feel I'm alive. My studio in my home and workshop in my garage are set up and I'm back to work. Wait till you see what I'm up to!
I'm here to bring you pretties, some on trend, some classics, some just me. Jewelry is meant to be mixed and matched, but mostly mixed. Wear what you love and you will feel and look so good!
